Jump Scare Rating: Poltergeist III is probably the most “adult” film in the trilogy thus far, not quite having the family friendly tone of the first two with more scares and jumps than its predecessors. It’s still campy and not particularly horrifying, but it isn’t quite as accessible as what came before.
Synopsis: Sent to live with her aunt and uncle at a high rise city building, Carol Anne is once again put into danger when Reverend Kane reappears to send his otherworldly forces after her.
